  • Dr Eric Texas

Dr. Eric completed dental school at the University of Texas and joined Kool Smiles in 2007. He lives with his wife and new baby, Abigail Rose, in San Antonio. The compensation plan at Kool Smiles has enabled Eric and his wife to purchase a home in their favorite neighborhood and take several vacations to Europe.

Eric's work schedule enables him to devote time to his patients and his young family. He says the thing he enjoys most about working at Kool Smiles is seeing oral health improve significantly for so many kids, and their parents. He is happy with his earning potential and is excited about the company's plans for the future.

On top of the financial rewards are the personal rewards that come from helping people in need and making a difference in his community. "This community has been there for me ever since I was kid," says Dr. Eric. "Now I have the opportunity to give back by helping kids who are in many cases disadvantaged. I have lots of reasons to smile."

  • Dr Anna Virginia

Dr. Anna earned her DDS at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Growing up in a big family, Anna has always enjoyed taking care of people. She was surprised to learn that so many people in the U.S. go without proper dental care, and her desire to change that is what led her to Kool Smiles.

Anna began working at Kool Smiles in Richmond. In addition to helping Anna start paying off her student loans, she received excellent on-the-job training at Kool Smiles, which gave her a strong foundation for her career in Dentistry.

"Everything just seemed to fall into place," says Dr. Anna. "I grew up wanting to be a dentist and when I became a dentist, I wanted to help people. Then along comes this cool company called Kool Smiles that's all about helping kids and families, and helping dentists become great dentists. I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity."

  • Dr Greg Texas

Dr. Greg grew up in Southern California. He studied music at California State University, Long Beach and attended dental school at UCLA. After years of spending countless hours sitting in traffic on the L.A. freeways, Greg's dream was to one day be a successful dentist and spend more of his free time sitting at his piano. With the help of Kool Smiles, Dr. Greg's dream came true when he relocated to Texarkana, Texas.

Kool Smiles was new to Texarkana, and so was Greg. He worked closely with a relocation consultant – provided by Kool Smiles – to learn more about the city. He was excited to learn that Texarkana was home to one of his musical heroes – Scott Joplin. He decided to visit Texarkana to get more acquainted with the town. For Dr. Greg, it was love at first sight.

"This was exactly what I was looking for - in my life and my work," says Greg. "Kool Smiles helped make relocation an easy process. They made sure that I talked to the right people and got the help I needed to find a home that was right for me. This was the best move I could have made, and I wouldn't have made it without Kool Smiles."

  • Dr Raja Massachusetts

Born and raised in India, Dr. Raja attended dental school at Maulana Azad Dental College & Hospital in New Delhi. When some of his friends and family members relocated to the U.S., he began researching advanced standing degree programs for dentists in this country.

He learned that Boston University has an excellent advanced standing program, so he enrolled and came to America just in time to see the leaves change color in New England. After completing the 2-year program at B.U., he got in touch with a recruiter at Kool Smiles. He knew he wanted to stay in Boston, and Kool Smiles offered the perfect opportunity with a position in the Chelsea office.

"My dream was to move to America and continue my dental career here," says Dr. Raja. "Kool Smiles made it all possible for me. They helped me obtain my work visa. They helped me to become a better dentist by giving me the opportunity to learn from some of the top dentists in the field. They even helped me become a Red Sox fan!"

  • Dr Tom Washington

When Dr. Tom completed dental school at the University of Washington, his goal was to open and grow his own practice in Everett, Washington. He didn't have a problem opening his practice, but when it came to maintaining and growing it, Tom was soon overwhelmed with the day-to-day business operations.

Tom was spending so much of his time trying to market his practice and manage the billing process that he wasn't able to enjoy being a dentist. What's more, he was finding it difficult to achieve balance in his life. With a wife and two young kids at home, Tom was eager to coach his son's soccer team, but he just didn't have the time or energy. That's when he decided to check out an opportunity at Kool Smiles in Everett.

"I'm finally able to do what I always envisioned doing after dental school," says Dr. Tom. "I'm focusing on what I do best. I'm a dentist, and a good one at that. I'm providing care to families who need it, and I'm spending time with my own kids. And on Saturdays, instead of dealing with billing nightmares and staffing issues, I'm on the soccer field – coaching my son's team."
